About Us

CIO Technologies, Inc. is a California corporation established in November 1987.

CIO originated as a consulting company devoting most of its time to a single customer, Kinko’s, Inc. CIO developed and implemented Kinko’s back office systems while Kinko’s expanded from 200 to 1,000 stores. These systems included store sales reporting, distribution, private label credit card processing and equipment leasing. CIO has maintained this relationship with Kinko’s, and is today servicing the newly renamed FedEx Office. In addition to software consulting, CIO also provides assistance to international corporations in the US, e.g. in 2000 CIO set up and initially managed the North American operations for a German Software provider, All for One Software, AG. The most recent addition to CIO’s business is CIO Direct. The product launch took place in December 2006 after extensive use by the initial customer, Parcel Corporation of America. Every day CIO Direct supports fulfillment and warehouse management for hundreds of companies through a network of Third Party Logistic providers in the United States and Canada.
